Communities In Schools – Bay Area’s success is based on building trusting relationships and being present for at-risk students who rely on having a safe place where they can share their struggles. Working directly inside schools, Communities In Schools – Bay Area’s is connecting the most vulnerable students to a caring adult, supportive services, and resources to help them stay in school.
Two years ago Mary Jane found out she was diabetic and scheduled an appointment with our mobile clinic in Sandia, Texas. She took her medication, participated in diabetes education classes, and ate healthier foods. Because of her efforts, her overall health and A1C improved significantly!

Meet Penelope, an easygoing toddler who loves to dance to music and spend time with her parents, Katie and Christian. When faced with the unexpected diagnosis of Down Syndrome, however, this family learned that even the most easygoing and close-knit families can benefit from access to a strong support system through The Warren Center.
Although our nation is faced with many uncertainties, Compassionate Touch has continued to fund short-term emergency resources to hospital patients and caregivers. As of January 1st – September 7th, our organization has funded over 752 patients with funding totaling over $234,000. and counting. Yes, by the end of the 2020, funding distributions will exceed well over a $250,000. Animals are welcomed as individuals when surrendered to Citizens for Animal Protection and are forever considered a part of our extended family, even after they move on to find loving homes. Being a part of the CAP family means that we will always strive to help our pets, even if they cross our paths again years later.
